Sharon & Paul-Wedding!

You may remember Sharon and Paul's engagement photos from a few weeks ago. We just shot their wedding last Saturday. I was assisted by my trusted 2nd photographer and good friend Larry Winter. As usual, we had a great time and captured some great stuff!

Breckenridge Workshop

Hi everyone. I just returned last Friday from a week long photo workshop in Breckenridge, where I studied under renowned wedding photographer David Ziser from Cincinnati. David is a master of lighting and posing and he had us going non-stop the entire 5 days. Whew!

Here is a shot of David setting up a shot of our model bride. If you remember my post about my love for log homes, you can imagine my delight when we shot in in this log church!

Ashley & Jared - Wedding!

Remember these guys? Now they're hitched! BJ and I had the pleasure of experiencing their wonderful day - and we took a few pics along the way. :-)

Dani & Doug!

Let the season begin! My good freind BJ Adams flew into town to shoot with me for back to back weddings on Friday and Saturday - and as usual; we had a blast! Dani and Doug's wedding was at the Dove House in Lafayette CO. I had never shot there before and I must say it is quite beautiful. Of course it always helps to work with beautiful people!

Call me vain, but I rarely pass up the opportunity for a self-portrait - see if you can find it! :-)

Lynn & Lee

I had the pleasure of photographing Lynn and Lee's wedding Sunday, May 13th. The evening was simply elegant. Unless someone addressed me directly, the entire event was spoken in Korean, so I really felt like a fly on the wall for much of the time. Although I had creative freedom to capture moments as they happened, it was a challenge to keep up without the benefit of understanding the language. I'm shooting weddings today (Friday) and tomorrow, and then I leave for Breckenridge for a week-long workshop. Should be fun!

Ashley & Jared - Engagement!

Our dream home...

We have always had the dream of living in a Log Home. So this weekend we drove south of Walsenburg, CO to visit an recently completed log home open house. This home was small, but so beautiful and cozy - we want one!
