Suzy & Matt's Album

You may remember the "details" post from a couple of weeks ago. Those shots were from Suzy and Matt's wedding. I just finished their album design and it came out very nice! We were on the heels of our second major blizzard in 6 days and the snow was everywhere! Unfortunately, some family and friends were stranded and couldn't make it to the wedding. Hopefully the album will help give them a sense of being there. View the entire album design here.

Erica & Nick!

I had the pleasure of photographing Erica & Nick's wedding at the Wild Basin Event Center in Allenspark. The entire wedding party included the bride, groom... and me! I even signed the marriage license, as I was one of only two witnesses. How fun!

Sashay!

I'm back from the Bay Area of California, where I shot a wedding for Dennis DeSilva of Studio Seven. Cathy Breslow, who lives in the area, shot 2nd with me and we had a great time. Here's an image Cathy captured of me photographing the bride from above. Scroll down for the resulting shot.



I had the bride sashay back and forth while firing away with a slow shutter speed allowing her dress to blur from the motion. After several tries, this is what we got.

Website update

Whew! I just finished updating my website wedding gallery with several of my favorites from the past few months. If you haven't been to my site in awhile, check it out when you have a chance!

Rusty!

We're back from our trip and I'm getting ready to go to the CA Bay Area to shoot a wedding for Dennis DeSilva. I just got two of my cameras back from service and I'm playing with them in my back yard to make sure everything works.

This is a shot of our dog, Rusty; who has an entirely different agenda! Being a pure bred Golden Retriever, Rusty is all about chasing and retrieving anything anyone will throw for him. Here he is waiting for me to throw a stray pine cone he picked up in the back yard. As you can see, he takes his play very seriously!

Away from the office-again!

We're headed on vacation back to Minnesota for a week, so no blog updates for awhile. So I'll leave you with a fun shot from a senior session I shot last summer.
