Congratulations to Kim and Ryan, who were recently engaged over the holidays.
These pics were taken at Red Rocks; a spot frequented by many photographers, including myself. The nice thing about Red Rocks in the winter is that it offers some nice color when everything else this time of year is dormant. One challenging aspect of Red Rocks is finding a unique perspective on a heavily shot area. It was cold and there was snow everywhere, but these two toughed it out and we were able to find some great shots.
Although Kim and Ryan's wedding plans (or date) have not yet been set, I hope I get to shoot their wedding! :-)

Melanie and David
Here are a few shots from Melanie and David's wedding at the Phipps Tennis Pavilion. Very fun - very beautiful.

Budding Photographer!
I know there are a lot of wedding photographers in CO, but now I have 4-year-olds stealing my thunder! This little guy is the our bride's son and was tearing it up with the camera all day!
Ok kiddo... if you're going to be great, the first thing you have to remember is to take the lens cap off. That's right, take it from who has learned the hard way...

Baby K!
Meet Baby K; the 4 month old daughter of a couple who's wedding I photographed in 2006. I don't photograph many babies but wow did we have a great time. I had even more fun processing the images, chuckling to myself over her many cute and often hilarious expressions. And her eyes - my oh my those wonderful eyes!
Here is our little rocker showing great form. Looks like Rock-n-Roll is here to stay!

Robyn & Eric
I don't usually post too many "Steve in Action" pics, but this one is kinda fun. Robyn and Eric's wedding was at the Lakeshore Lodge in Estes Park. After the ceremony, we went down by the lake for some fun shots. I managed to get Robyn and Eric out on a rock right over the water. It was a balancing act for all of us, but we got some great shots!

Shooting with Beckstead
I just finished a two-day workshop with David Beckstead. David is a wonderful photographer with a keen ability for capturing beauty with a fashion edge . The class consisted of 12 photographers, three beautiful models, and some splendid locations! The first day was for shooting and on the second day each of us showed 20 of our favorite images while David offered his critique. Wow, there were so many awesome images by some of Denver's finest wedding photographers! I had a blast, as did we all. Check it out!
