Amanda & Brian Album

Hey look, an album design! Amanda and Brian were married at the Greek Orthodox Church in Denver, CO. Wow, what a beautiful place! I was joined for the day by photographers James Gritz and Autumn Burke. Between the three of us, we were able to be in literally three places at once, which we really needed at this wedding. Check out the slideshow here.

Dianna & Jeremiah Album

Another album to share! Dianna and Jeremiah were married at the Broadmoor Resort and Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. Such a beautiful place! Although it rained for most of the day, we made the most of it and managed to get out side when it mattered the most. I was joined on the day by fellow photographer Hardy Klahold. The event was coordinated by Taylor Fry of Eat Dring & Be Married. Check out the slideshow here.

Tiffany & Travis Album

I've been designing albums like crazy and feel the need to share! Tiffany and Travis were married in City Park in downtown Ft. Collins, CO. The reception was held at Seton Hall. I was joined for the day by fellow photographer John Hudetz. To view Tiffany and Travis' album design, click here. Use the "back" button in your browser to return to this page.

Meg & Andy

Recently I had the rare pleasure of shooting 2nd for another photographer - Grant Oaks. Grant and I traded off this year; he shot with me on Liza and Alan's wedding (see album post below) and I shot for him for Meg and Andy. I must say, not only is it a lot of fun shooting for someone else; it is challenging, rewarding, and a unique learning experience. I'm all about perspective and relevance in whatever I do. From the images I make to the approach I take, it is important that the resulting imagery is meaningful to me, my clients, and even the casual observer. Here are some of my favorite images from Meg and Andy's wedding. Keep in mind, I hardly spoke to them all day and provided very minimal direction to achieve any of these images. Yes, Grant provided lots of direction, but I tried to stay out of the way and make images that compliment the body of work. Be sure to click the images for a full screen view. Jen & Jordy!

Meet Jen and Jordy! I photographed Jordy's brother James' wedding a couple of years ago and things came out really nice, so here I am again! The wedding was in Minnesota, which is perfect for me. Minnesota is my home state, so it was an opportunity to extend my visit and see family.

Jordy just came home from a Marine Corps deployment and wore his Dress Blues for the ceremony and changed into a tux for the rest of the day. Wow, it was sooo cold, but I have to hand it to those girls, they were toughed it out! Click the photos for larger versions.

We shot all the formals before the ceremony, so we arranged a semi-private meeting between Jen and Jordy so they could see each other for the first time.

Amanda & Jon!

Meet Amanda and Jon; married at the Chapel at Red Rocks. This venue is really nice because before and after the ceremony we can run around in Red Rocks Park and capture all kinds of cool shots. Beautiful couple, awesome location, great light - no complaints here!

I was joined for the day by photographer Krista Cooley of Cooley Photography. Krista is a great photographer with a very unique and gifted eye for composition and control of light. See the end of this post for more of what I'm talking about... :-)

This is not the most flattering photo of Krista, but I think you will understand why I shot it considering the fact that while I was making the photo above, Krista was making the photo below - wow!

Nikki & Andrew!

Meet Nikki and Andrew; married at the Mile High Station in downtown Denver. Mile High Station is one of the coolest but most challenging venues I've shot. With its rich Denver history and lo-do charm, it is an ideal venue for a unique and eclectic wedding.

I was joined for the evening by Charlotte Geary or Charlotte Geary Photography. Charlotte is an awesome photographer and real sweetheart!
